Commerce Lease Group leases commercial trucks to small-to-medium sized fleets based across the United States. Like all commercial vehicle leasing companies, what we really provide is outsourced fleet management. Most companies that operate large fleets of vehicles have an entire department devoted to purchasing, financing and disposal of those vehicles. Smaller fleet operators, however, have fewer options when it comes to outsourced fleet management. Leasing companies, taking advantage of economies of scale, can usually achieve lower costs in all three areas (purchasing, financing and disposal) and can pass on the savings to customers. In addition, outsourcing fleet management tasks to a leasing company generally saves a great deal of time for owners and managers of smaller companies that operate vehicle fleets.

Commerce Lease Group is headquartered in Wichita, Kan., and has been in business since 1991. At Commerce Lease Group, we specialize in smaller vehicle fleets (15 to 100 vehicles) whose usage entails extremes of high mileage, rough usage or industry-specific service bodies. We focus on a few specific industry groups like the following: oil and gas service and exploration, courier companies, hotel management, vending and bottled water. Our customer is likely too small to get much attention from a larger, national leasing company but has outgrown the capacity of the local auto dealership in terms of assistance with their fleet operations.
